SPS Class Adviser have to be fully conversant to be able to explain the class program, sports offering, grading system and student activities. The School Principal have to be around to respond to queries about legality and recognition of the program and how students get promoted or transferred, if they wish to.

DepEd-ARMM provides opportunity for sports-minded students
Under the leadership of RG Mujiv Hataman, we are striving to provide varied curricula that will respond to different student needs and learning styles. The Special Program in Sports (SPS) directly respond to and support sports-minded students.
SPS implementation in the ARMM starting SY 2014-15 shall compose of the five (5) implementing schools or one per province. The division is directed to provide supervisory and technical support and liaise with local individuals and organizations who can assist the school improve its sports provision. The regional office will readily provide the policy and resource support in order to carry this out this modelling successfully.
We wish the implementing schools all the best!
