One of the important preparations in the implementation of the SPS is to conduct parents' orientation in order to create awareness among and inform the parents about the "why", "how" and "what" of the program. Parents would like to know if this program recognized by DepEd, and its graduates can proceed to Senior High.

SPS Class Adviser have to be fully conversant to be able to explain the class program, sports offering, grading system and student activities. The School Principal have to be around to respond to queries about legality and recognition of the program and how students get promoted or transferred, if they wish to.

SPS implementation in the ARMM starting SY 2014-15 shall compose of the five (5) implementing schools or one per province. The division is directed to provide supervisory and technical support and liaise with local individuals and organizations who can assist the school improve its sports provision. The regional office will readily provide the policy and resource support in order to carry this out this modelling successfully.

We wish the implementing schools all the best!
